Installing Anki in Fedora
Using the Gui
open "System"/"Administration"/"Add/Remove Software"
enter anki into the search field and press Enter
select anki in the packages list
press Apply
Note: beginning with Fedora 11 anki can be found in the Education group
Using the command line
as a root user execute: yum install anki

- until an updated package is available you can choose one of the following options:
compile anki from git (see http://ichi2.net/anki/download/index.html for details)
get the src.rpm ( yum-downloader --source anki ), get the new tarball and re-compile the package
Building RPM for other distros (eg, OpenSuse)
