Audacity export
- Time-saving Benefits:
- You don't have to label your selections
- You don't have to stop the currently playing selection before exporting
- You don't have to bother with the file name dialog
- You don't have to browse your media directory to find the file you exported
- Features:
- automatically appends the start and end timestamps of the selected audio when exporting
- allows you to set your Anki media directory and preferred file formats in Preferences
copies [sound:<filename>] to the clipboard when exporting so that you can paste this directly into Anki
- stops playback automatically on export
- works with any export format in Audacity (OGG, MP3, etc.)
- Warnings:
- takes the shortcut key from "Export Selection..."
- this patch has only been tested on Linux, but it should work in Mac OS X and Windows as well
- assumes that the time displays on the selection bar are in hh:mm:ss (00 h 00 m 00 s) or hh:mm:ss.ms (00 h 00 m 00.000s) format
