Anki allows you to control which cards should be quizzed, by enabling or disabling cards depending on their tags.
Avoid Micromanagement
Be careful not to fall into the habit of enabling single categories and reviewing them one at a time. This wastes your time, and makes the questions too easy. Your memory will worsen as a result.
This dialog is most useful for targeting a given section of material before a test, or for suspending material that you don't want to study for a while.
